Mark Marvin Kadigo

PhD Candidate, Teaching and Research Assistant

Development Studies

I am migration and development professional, with a background in Natural resources and Development Evaluation and Management and with extensive research experience.

​

As a teaching and research assistant at the Institute of Development Policy (IOB), University of Antwerp, I am actively involved in teaching and service activities. I contribute to a diverse range of courses (both quantitatively and qualitatively oriented) and I also serve in several boards and commissions at the institute.

​

My PhD currently incorporates several studies on refugees and host communities in Uganda (and Ethiopia). The broad focus of my studies being the socio-economic effects of hosting refugees, and attitudes and perceptions in refugee-hosting contexts.

​

My broad research interests are in Migration and Sustainable Development.
